Odisha: Youth Allegedly Hangs Himself To Death In Police Station

Berhampur: A youth allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself to death inside Golanthara Police Station under Ganjam district on Monday.

According to reports, the accused was brought to the police station today for questioning in connection with a brawl at his village in Rangipura under Golanthara police limits. He was found hanging with his belt this evening. His body was recovered from the women and children’s cell in the police station premises.

An investigation into the alleged suicide is underway.
