Odisha: Woman Hacked To Death By Husband In Sundargarh

Sundargarh: In a ghastly act, a man allegedly hacked his wife to death over a family quarrel at Podadihi Basti under Koira police limits in Sundargarh district on Thursday night.

The deceased has been identified as Sambari Munda (35).

According to reports, the accused, Budhu Munda (30), entered into a quarrel with his wife over some family issues last night. During the quarrel, Munda lost his temper and hacked his wife with an axe.

Acting on a complaint, a team of Koida police reached the spot and detained the accused husband. They also seized the axe from his possession. Further investigation is underway into the incident.
