Bhubaneswar: Even as the current weather condition across Odisha remains dry, parts of the State may possibly see a considerable change in the cold conditions after five days, predicts Regional Meteorological Centre.

With the winter setting in, the night or minimum temperature in several parts of Odisha is expected to dip in the coming days.

However, there will be a substantial drop in the minimum temperatures across Odisha in the next five days,” said Umashankar Dash, an official of the Met Department.

As per the data shared by India Meteorological Department’s (IMD) Regional Centre in Bhubaneswar, Daringbadi in Kandhamal district was the coldest on Sunday with a minimum temperature of 12.5 degree Celsius. Apart from Daringbadi, three more places- Phulbani (14), Angul (14.6 ) and Koraput (13), Sonepur (13.6) recorded temperature below 15 degree Celsius on Sunday. The Twin cities of Cuttack and Bhubaneswar recorded minimum temperature of 19.6 and 20.3 degree Celsius, respectively during the last 24 hours.

Malkangiri district recorded the highest temperature of 34.5 degree Celsius, informed Regional Meteorological Centre, Bhubaneswar.
