Odisha: Truck Rams Into Roadside House, Close Shave For 7 Of Family

Karanjia: Seven members of a family had a narrow escape after a truck rammed into a roadside house at Mahardapalasa Chhak under Jashipur police limits in Mayurbhanj district on Friday night.

According to sources, the driver lost control over the heavy vehicle when it was heading to Suakathi of Keonjhar from Jharkhand along NH-220 and rammed into the house of one Gadadhar Mahanta in late night.

Jashipur police rushed to the spot and seized the vehicle. A case has been registered against the driver, whose identity was not ascertained. Further investigation is underway.
