Bhubaneswar: Odisha Tourism Development Corporation (OTDC) on Thursday announced that it will offer complete marriage solutions in its various Panthanivas.
OTDC Chairman Shreemayee Mishra informed that Panthanivas will provide complete wedding solutions at a cost of Rs 50,000. The complete package will include mehndi ceremony, sangeet ceremony and the wedding ceremony.
“Initially, the wedding destination packages will be provided at six Panthanivas situated in Gopalpur, Rambha, Konark, Puri, Chandipur and Badakul. More Panthanivas will be covered later on,” informed Mishra.
“Honeymoon and first marriage anniversary packages will also be provided to the newlywed couples,” she added.
In view of the huge demand from the tourists, the OTDC has reportedly arranged two special buses for sightseeing in Kalahandi and Bolangir. Besides, it has decided to launch house boat and floating restaurant initiatives at Panthanivas in Rambha and Barkul.
“Efforts are on to help the tourists to book Panthanivas rooms and hotels through different online platforms like MakeMyTrip, Goibibo and Yatra.”
The OTDC Chairman further said that 30 per cent discount will be given to government employees.
