Bhubaneswar: Several parts of Odisha will experience light rain and thundershowers ahead of Diwali, predicted India Meteorological Department’s (IMD) Regional Centre in Bhubaneswar on Tuesday.

As per the latest weather bulletin, several districts in Coastal Odisha will experience rainfall activity for the next two-three days.

Here is the complete weather outlook till November 13:

Day 1 (Valid from 0830 hours of November 10 up to 0830 hours of November 11): Light to moderate rain or thundershower likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Ganjam, Puri and Gajapati.

Day 2 (Valid from 0830 hours of November 11 up to 0830 hours of November 12): Light to moderate rain/ thundershower likely to occur at some parts of south coastal Odisha, Kandhamal, Rayagada, Koraput and Malkangiri.

Day 2 (Valid from 0830 hours of November 12 up to 0830 hours of November 13): Rain and thundershower likely in the districts of Malkangiri, Koraput, Rayagada, Gajapati and Nabarangpur.

At present, a trough of low at mean sea level lies over Southwest and adjoining West-central Bay of Bengal. However, there has been no major change in the minimum temperature observed in several parts of Odisha.

The highest maximum temperature of 32.1 degree Celsius was recorded at Balasore while Sonepur recorded the lowest minimum temperature of 9.2 degree Celsius.
