Odisha: Sex Racket Busted In Bhadrak, 2 Arrested

Bhadrak: Police on Sunday busted a sex racket operating at a rented house at Dagamundara under Urban police limits in the district.

Police rescued four women besides arresting two persons allegedly involved in the illicit trade.

Sources said, four women were residing at the rented house for the last 15 days. Locals started suspecting their activities when some men visited them frequently. Sensing any illegal activities, they informed the police following which a team from Urban police station carried out raids on the house and rescued the women.

Those who have been arrested will be forwarded to court today, police said.

On February 14, police personnel busted a major sex racket at a village in Nayagarh district posing themselves as customers. Two persons had been arrested while two women allegedly involved in the illegal trade had been rescued, police said.
