Odisha: School Girl Raped By Teacher For 2 Years In Kalahandi

Bhawanipatna: A 15-year-old girl has allegedly been raped by her school teacher multiple times at Madanpur Rampur area here in Kalahandi district.

Family members of the girl alleged that the teacher has raped the girl several time in last two years by luring her in his talks. The teacher had also eloped her away to Bhubaneswar had abandoned her at Baramunda Bus stand.

Later, the girl reached Madanpur Rampur police station and narrated her ordeal.

The accused teacher is a resident of Bolgada in Khurdha district. He was working as a teacher in a government school at Madanpur Rampur in Kalahandi district.

Kalahandi SP Saravana Vivek said "Her father had lodged a missing complaint following which we had registered a case and launched an investigation. During the course of investigation, we found that the school teacher of the girl had eloped her and kept physical relationship with the girl. We have rescued the girl and conducted medical examination,"

"Our efforts are on to nab the accused teacher who is on the run since the incident," the SP added.
