Bhubaneswar: The Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) has issued strict warning to all Centres/Sub Centres/Examination Management Hubs/Self-Financing Higher Secondary Schools conducting annual Plus 2 examination to mandatorily equip their centres with CCTV.

In a fresh circular dated April 13, the Controller of Examinations, CHSE has made it clear that centres without CCTV facility with not be allowed to conduct the examination.

Authorities of all examination centres/sub-centres and practical laboratories of self-financing higher secondary schools have been asked to furnish CCTV installation status in SAMS e-Space by April 25. The council has strictly mentioned that those who fail to do so will not be declared as examination centres for annual Higher Secondary Exams 2021.

This apart, the council has further alerted that it will report to the government for taking appropriate action against such defaulting Higher Secondary Schools/Colleges.

“The H.S. Schools/Colleges must furnish the compliance report through the CCTV link provided in SAMS e-space latest by dt, 25.04.2021 failing which the Council may be constrained to cancel the Examination Centres (both Theory & PracticalJ and report to the Govt. for taking appropriate action against the defaulted H.S. Schools/Colleges,” the CHSE has said in its notification.

This year the annual CHSE Plus 2 examination will be held from May 18 to June 12. The exam for vocational studies will begin on May 28.
