Odisha: Norwester Claims Two Lives In Ganjam

Berhampur: A ten-year-old boy and his grandfather died at Brahmana Chai village under Ganjam district’s Sheragada block after a huge tree uprooted by strong Norwester winds fell on their house.

The deceased have been identified as Kanha Pradhan (9) and his grandfather Purnachandra Pradhan.

As per reports, the duo was sleeping in their house this afternoon when the tree fell upon their house and crushed them to death.

Notably, norwester rains lashed several parts of Ganjam district this afternoon disrupting normalcy.
