Odisha: Minor Siblings Drown In Pond In Kendrapara

Kendrapara: A pall of gloom descended on Danigiri village under Rajkanika Police Limits in Kendrapara district after two siblings reportedly drowned while playing near a pond on Monday.

As per reports, seven-year-old girl Mamuni and her three-year-old brother Biswajit suddenly went missing while playing near the pond this morning. After a frantic search throughout the village, the locals spotted them floating in the village pond where they were seen playing earlier.

After rescuing the duo, the locals rushed them to the nearby Rajkanika community health centre where the doctors declared them brought dead.

No comments could be obtained from the police in this connection.
