Odisha minister’s son quizzed by CBI in chit fund scam

Bhubaneswar: Cooperation Minister Surya Narayan Patro's son Biplab is under CBI scanner in connection with the chit fund scam.

According to sources, the central investigating agency questioned Biplab in Bhubaneswar today.

The CBI had summoned Biplab after getting vital leads on payments made towards purchase of computers from the bank accounts of Artha Tatwa (AT) chit fund company, informed sources.

The CBI sleuths also questioned a realtor and a hotelier today.

Comments from Biplab could not be obtained while Minister SN Patro avoiding camera said no such thing has happened.
