Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government on Monday issued guidelines for the much-awaited second phase admissions in degree colleges (+3 First Year) for the session 2020-21.

As per the latest notification issued by the Higher Education Department, the Common Application Form (CAF) will be available on the website www.samsodisha.gov.in– froom December 23 (11:00 AM).

The last date for online application is December 28 (11:45 pm).

The applicants, who have not submitted CAF during phase-I can submit fresh application for phase-II and have to deposit the CAF fees online.

The applicants/ students, who have already taken admissions, not taken admissions in the phase –I can also apply in the phase II admission. However, they are not required to deposit CAF fees again.

There will be reservation in the category of ST, SC, ESM, SDP, CoM in respect of vacancies available in different colleges/ subjects.

As per the official notification, there will be weightage for students/ applicants in the categories of NCC, NSS & Ranger, Sports and Games as per common prospectus.

However, the selection of candidates / students will be done purely on mark basis. The students/applicants with physical disability will be given first priority irrespective of the marks in all categories.
