Bhubaneswar: With rising temperature and intense heat wave conditions across Odisha, the State government today extended school holidays till June 25.

The state government has decided to close down the schools till June 25 due to heat wave conditions in the state, said CM Naveen Patnaik.

Earlier, the State government had extended the vacations till June 21.

The schools were earlier set to open on June 18 but due to the gradual rise in temperature, the government extended the school holidays twice.
