Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government has adopted 'No Work No Pay' policy in respect of officers/officials under the School & Mass Education department participating in strike.

In this regard, Additional Secretary Prabhat Kumar Bhoi has written to all Directors under School & Mass Education Department informing about the decision.

"I am directed to intimate you that it has been decided to adopt the principle of "No Work No Pay" in respect of the Officers/Officials those who have been participated in the strike neglecting their official assignments since long (sic)," the letter reads.

Earlier on September 24, teachers, lecturers and employees of block grant schools and colleges resumed duty after their 40-day long cease-work stir wearing black badges vowing to continue their protests over various demands.
