Odisha: Giant Shark Carcass Found In Nullah

Soro: Locals of Kantiachera village in Soro area of Balasore district were left bewildered after a giant shark was found dead in a nullah on Sunday morning.

The carcass was found in the nullah which is connected to a nearby sea. It was suspected that the carcass came floating in the nullah from the sea.

after the news of the dead shark broke, people in large number gathered at the spot to catch a glimpse of the giant fish.

The exact cause of death of the shark is yet to be ascertained.

Earlier on February 25, a whale shark of about 15 feet in length was caught in the net of fishermen near Pati Sonepur in Ganjam district. Later, it was released into the Bay of Bengal.
