New Delhi: Odisha Food Festival has been kicked off at the Press Club, New Delhi and will continue till April 29.
Stalls with traditional food and sweets from Odisha have been set up at the venue which is being flocked by non-resident Odias and Delhiites alike.

Well-known historian and food critic, Pushpesh Pant who was the Chief Guest at the event, said, "The relation that Odisha has for many decades with South-East Asian countries which is called the 'spice-route', can be observed in Odia food, which most Indians are unaware of. I feel this event serves the purpose of making everyone aware of Odia cuisine."

Cultural programs were also held during the event which is being organized by Odisha Development Forum while OTV is the media partner.

Speaking to OTV, Parthasarathy Jena, President, Odisha Development Forum, said,"We are thinking of organizing this festival every year. This will continue for 3 days i.e April 27, 28 and 29. We are organising this event to promote Odisha's traditional food."
