Odisha Farmer Trampled To Death By Elephant

Bolangir: A wild elephant allegedly trampled an elderly man to death at Dhauradadar village under Agalpur block in the district. The deceased has been identified as Sriram Biswal.

According to sources, Biswal had gone to his farmland when he was reportedly attacked and killed by the elephant.

Earlier this month, a wild elephant allegedly trampled an elderly man to death at Godarbili village in Kamakhyanagar of Dhenkanal district.

Similarly, a 35-year-old farmer died after being attacked by a herd of elephants at Gangajal village in Odisha’s Sundargarh district last month.
