Addressing a presser Chief Electoral Officer Surendra Kumar in Bhubaneswar said 66% voters turnout was reported till 5 PM during first phase polls in the State.
As per the office of the Chief Electoral Officer, 57% voter turnout till 3:30 PM in first phase polls in Odisha.
“No untoward incident was reported during the first phase polls in the State. Polling parties and EVMs will reach strong room amid tight security,” said DGP In-charge BK Sharma.

As per the office of Chief Electoral Officer, 22 per cent voter turnout was recorded till 11 AM in first phase polls in Odisha. Reports claimed 25% voter turnout recorded in Berhampur Lok Sabha segment, 21% in Nabarangpur, 23% in Kalahandi and 23% in Koraput.
