Odisha Cyclist Covers 14 States In 68 Days For A Noble Cause

Cuttack: With an aim to spread awareness on pollution-free environment and road safety, Cuttack resident Syed Faizan Ali travelled across the country on a bicycle and returned home to a rousing welcome from friends and supporters on Thursday.

Faizan had begun his journey from Kendrapara on October 20 and went on to cover nearly 7000 kilometres in north India on a bicycle.

“I covered 14 states in a span of 68 days. I wanted to raise awareness on road safety and pollution-free environment among people,” Faizan said.

Earlier in January, Faizan had covered 10 states on a bicycle to spread awareness on the same issues. He had started his 64-day cycle ride on November 3, 2018.
