Odisha: Covid Warrior Found Dead In Hotel Room In Keonjhar

Keonjhar: A doctor working at a Covid-19 hospital in Ranki was found dead in a hotel room in the district on Sunday.

The deceased has been identified as Asha Charan Majhi from Jamda village of Mayurbhanj district.

Majhi was sleeping in the hotel room for a long time. When a hotel staff tried to wake him up, he was found dead. Soon after the incident, the hotel owner informed the police.

After registering an unnatural death case, the police sent the doctor’s body to the Keonjhar District Headquarters Hospital (DHH) for post mortem.

“Reasons behind the doctor’s death are yet to be known. The post mortem report will reveal the exact cause,” a police official said.
