Bhubaneswar: With an aim to rejuvenate the party workers following the poll debacle, Odisha Congress is planning a major rejig in the party, informed party's State in-charge Jitendra Singh.

Speaking to the media here on Wednesday, Singh said that a 'massive reshuffle' will take place within the party in the coming days in Odisha.

"We have plans for reshuffle from block level to zone to PCC level. We will reach out to people at the grassroots level and strengthen the party once again. We will also give opportunity to new people," he added.

On the other hand, OPCC chief Niranjan Patnaik said that the party had constituted a fact finding team to find out the reasons behind the party's poll debacle and the said team will submit its report in two months.

The Congress had won only nine out of the 146 Assembly seats and one of the 21 Lok Sabha seats in 2019 general polls.
