Odisha: Cold Wave To Return From Jan 20, IMD Issues Dense Fog Alert
Bhubaneswar: After witnessing a brief spell of intense cold wave conditions, Odisha is all set to see a change in the weather conditions for the next two days.
As per the latest weather bulletin issued by India Meteorological Department’s (IMD) Regional Centre in Bhubaneswar, there will be a rise of 2 to 3 degree Celsius in the minimum temperature (night temperature) across the State for the next 48 hours.
“Again Minimum temperature will fall by 3-4 degree Celsius gradually in the subsequent 2-3 days over the districts of Odisha,” the IMD bulletin read.
Here is the complete weather outlook for the next two days:
Day 1 (Valid Till 0830 Hours Of January 19)
Yellow Warning: Dense fog likely to occur at several parts of Mayurbhanj, Bhadrak, Balasore, Kendrapara, Jagatsinghpur, Cuttack, Angul, Boudh, Kandhamal and Nayagarh.
Day 2 (Valid from O830 Hours of January 19 to 0830 Hours of January 20)
Yellow Warning: Dense fog warning issued for the districts of Jharsuguda, Sundergarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Angul and Boudh.
As per IMD, highest maximum temperature of 32.5 degree Celsius was recorded at Malkangiri and the lowest minimum temperature of 10.4 degree Celsius was recorded at Jharsuguda in the past 24 hours.
