Bhubaneswar: The Council of Higher Secondary Education has released the form fill-up date for regular and ex-regular students for the Plus 2 board exam 2021.

The CHSE has released the schedule and guidelines for the online form fill-up for Regular and Ex-Regular students of Arts, Science, Commerce and Vocational streams including the Correspondence Course students for the annual board exam 2021.

The last date of form fill-up for all categories of students is March 3, 2021. "Students, Parents & Guardians are advised to be careful for fill-up of forms latest by dt. 03.03.2021 positively. No extension of dates for form fill-up will be made under any circumstances due to paucity of time for all preparatory arrangements for the ensuing Annual H.S. Examination, 2021," reads the official release.

The CHSE has fixed examination and other fees per student at Rs 520 while practical examination fees and project work fees will be Rs 40 per paper. Candidates with benchmark disabilities are eligible for examination fee waiver of Rs 165 (exam fees) and practical/project fees of Rs 40 per paper.

Syllabus 

For regular and ex-regular students who are registered in 2016 and onwards and come under new syllabus, questions will be asked from reduced syllabus (70%).

Questions Pattern

Multiple choice questions carrying 1 mark each-covering average 50% of the total marks.

Short answer type questions (carrying 2/3 marks)- average 30% of total marks with more number of options.

Long answer type questions (within 5 marks)- average 20% of total marks with more number of options.

For ex-regular students coming under old syllabus (registered up to 2015), syllabus and question pattern will remain unchanged.
