Odisha: Businessman Injured In Firing In Umerkote, Hospitalised

Nabarangpur: A businessman was critically injured after being allegedly shot at by three miscreants in Umerkote area of the district on Friday.

As per reports, the injured businessman T Sanjeev Subudhi was standing in front of the Punjab National Bank branch office at Umerkote when the three miscreants opened fire at him and flee the spot.

Critically injured, Subudhi was rushed to the Umerkote community healthcare centre (CHC) by some locals.

While the reason behind the attack is yet to be ascertained, police are yet to comment on the incident.
