Odisha Bandh In Pictures

Bhubaneswar: Normal life has been disrupted in several parts of State due to bandh observed by the Odisha Congress in protest against the rising fuel prices. Vehicular communication and rail services have been affected as the protesters resorted to road and rail blockades at many places across the State. Commercial establishments have remained shut in different market places.

The party said that stiff rise in prices of petrol and diesel has led to price rise of other essential commodities. Congress leaders appealed to the public to come out in support of the bandh to make it a success.

The shutdown which began since 7 am will continue till 1 pm.
