Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Assembly premises will become completely Wi-Fi enabled within the next 20 days, informed Speaker Surya Narayan Patro.
Besides, the State assembly will become paperless as all document related works will be carried out online, Patro said after holding a meeting with the Odisha Computer Application Centre (OCAC) authorities.
“As we are planning to transform our assembly into an e-assembly, we are mainly focusing on four new aspects including making the assembly premises Wi-Fi enabled. All works will be completed within the next 20 days. The file and document related works will be carried out online instead of any paperwork,” Patro said.
Moreover, Patro said necessary equipment will be installed in the new halls constructed on the assembly premises to hold discussion with all the collectors on various issues of their concerned districts.
A decision in this regard was taken in the review meeting of the Speaker with the Odisha State Wide Network (OSWAN) authorities.
