Odisha: 6 Kg Gold, 240 Kg Silver Seized From Car In Ganjam

Berhampur: In a major haul, a police team in Ganjam district seized 6 kg gold and 240 kg silver while they were being illegally transported in a car on Saturday.

Gosani Nuagaon police have recovered the gold and silver from the car and nabbed three persons in this connection. They are being interrogated by the police.

"It is suspected that the valuables were being smuggled from Tamil Nadu as the car bears the registration number of the state. Further investigation into the case is underway," said Berhampur additional SP Pravat Routray.
