Odia Cheer-Up Song Of Men’s Hockey World Cup released

Bhubaneswar: With hockey fever gripping the entire State every passing day, the Sports and Youth Services department on Wednesday released the cheer-up song for the Men's Hockey World Cup scheduled to begin from November 28 at Kalinga Stadium here.

The video song featuring the tradition and culture of Odisha is prepared to cheer up Team India during the mega event, said sources.

Notably, Bollywood singer Mika Singh has lent his voice for the song titled as “Asa Kariba Bobal, Odisha Naa Heba Global,” which is tuned in Sambalpuri style.

Meanwhile, people in large numbers have been seen queuing up before the ticket counters at Kalinga stadium for a ticket to watch the mega event.

The tickets for the opening match, the matches featuring India, quarter finals, semi-final and final matches are reportedly 'sold out' on the first day of offline sale.

The Men’s Hockey World Cup 2018 is scheduled to be held at Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar from November 28 to December 16 whereas the opening ceremony will be held on November 27.
