Noted Odia film producer Subash Rout no more

Bhubaneswar: Noted film producer of Ollywood industry Subash Rout passed away at his residence in Chhatra Bazar of Cuttack early morning today. He was 62.

The entire Ollywood fraternity expressed grief at the sad demise of the eminent producer.

As per Rout’s family members, he was suffering from cancer since a long time and was undergoing medical treatment.

He was an eminent personality in the Odia film industry and has a number of hit movies to his name which include 'Suna Panjuri', 'Santan', Bhagya Hate Dori', 'Lakshman Reskha' and 'Sinha Bahini'.

'Suna Panjuri' was a milestone in his career. Rout has also produced many Odia daily soaps including 'Bidhatara Khela' for which he will be cherished in the hearts of the people and the industry forever.
