Bhubaneswar: Nor’wester rain is likely to lash several parts of coastal, north and southern Odisha from today, forecast the Regional Meteorological Centre in Bhubaneswar.

As per the Met department, a cyclonic circulation system is developing over Bay of Bengal and it could trigger rainfall in the State from today and will continue till March 15.

Sundergarh, Sambalpur and Bargarh in western Odisha are likely to experience rainfall today while most parts of north and interior Odisha including Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Baripada, Nayagarh and Kandhamal are expected to receive heavy rainfall on March 14 and 15.
