Nigerian national arrested in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: A Nigerian national was arrested today in Bhubaneswar on charges of possessing fake passports and travelling in the country without necessary clearances.

The foreign national has been identified as Amadi Victor Blaze. A team of Commissionerate Police arrested Blaze from Bhubaneswar Railway Station after getting a tip off from Mumbai Police, informed sources.

Sources said Blaze has been staying in Mumbai for many years with fake passports.

Bhubaneswar DCP Anup Sahu said the foreign national is wanted in connection with possessing fake passports regarding which a case has been registered at a civil court in Mumbai.

“After interrogation we have arrested the foreign national and he would be forwarded to court. Besides, other formalities will also be fulfilled,” Sahu said.
