Subsequently, she was rushed to the Dunguripallu CHC in a vehicle but the doctors declared her brought dead. The doctors later confirmed that Rosy had died due to cardiac failure.

The Binika Police rushed to the hospital after getting the information and sent the body for post-mortem. The body will be handed over to the family following autopsy. A pall of gloom descended on Rosy's village after the sad news broke.

Ramesh Sahu, a resident of Julunda village said, "She fainted during the bidaai ceremony and the doctors declared her dead at the hospital. This is a very unfortunate incident. May God gives strength to the bereaved families of the couple to bear the massive tragedy."
