Paralakhemundi: Selling vehicle without registration proved costly for a vehicle dealership as a whopping Rs 1 lakh penalty was imposed by the office of Gajapati Regional Transport Officer (RTO).
As per reports, one Jubinas Bhuyan of Tarbha village under Gumma block of Gajapati had bought a motorcycle from Sitaram Motors in Rayagada. However, the dealer delivered the vehicle without a registration number.

After imposition of the penalty, Gajapati RTO also wrote a letter to Rayagada RTO urging to suspend the trade certificate of the dealer for the lapses.
