Bhubaneswar: The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2019, which was earlier postponed in view of the cyclone fani, will be held on May 20. The exam was postponed earlier on the request of Odisha government for relief and restoration work following the cyclone fani which hit the State on May 3.

Other than Odisha, the NEET ws held across other parts of the country on May 5.

Higher Education Secretary, R. Subrahmanyam informed that, "On the request of Odisha government in wake of the cyclone Fani, the NEET(UG) 2019 exam, which was scheduled to held on May 5, was postponed only for the candidates having examination centres in Odisha. The examination for the above candidates will be held on May 20 from 10 AM to 1 PM."

Subramanyam further stated that the examination centres will remain the same and the revised admit cards will be issued soon.
