Naveen Patnaik inaugurates Rukuda Irrigation project

Sundargarh: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today inaugurated the Rukuda Medium Irrigation project at Shivnathpur under Gurundia block of Sundargarh district.

The project implemented with a budget of Rs 293 crores will be able to provide irrigation facilities to several villages in the region.

Following the inauguration, the CM also laid the foundation stones for 33 new projects at the RDD stadium in Bonai.

In a public meeting organised today, Naveen said agriculture is our pride and the State government is always with the poor and the tribals.

During his visit today, the CM also distributed cheques to the beneficiaries of different welfare schemes and wheel-chairs to differently-abled persons.
