Naveen condoles death of Vilasrao Deshmukh

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Tuesdaycondoled the death of Union Minister Vilasrao Deshmukh and described him as an efficient leader and administrator.

"Deshmukh was an efficient leader and administrator. He undertook different developmental programmes both as chief minister of Maharashtra and as a union minister," Patnaik said in a message.

Describing Deshmukh as popular among politicians cutting across party lines, Patnaik said his death was a national loss.
