Nandankanan Welcomes New Guests, White Tigress Bijaya Delivers 3 Cubs

Bhubaneswar: Spreading bouts of happiness for wildlife lovers, white tigress Bijaya gave birth to three cubs on Sunday at the Nandankanan Zoological Park in Bhubaneswar.

As per the information provided by the zoo authorities, Bijaya delivered one cub in the morning and then delivered two more cubs in the afternoon.

Nandankanan now has a total tiger population of 27, out of which seven are White Tigers, four are Melanistic Tigers and 13 are Royal Bengal Tigers, informed the zoo authorities.
