Bhubaneswar: From gym to Kalyan Mandap and other modern-day amenities, Odisha MLAs will get all facilities under one roof as a multi-storey quarters will come up in Bhubaneswar soon, informed Assembly Speaker SN Patro.

Patro further informed that some portion of the MLA colony will be demolished for the multi-storey building in Bhubaneswar.

“Some portion of the existing MLA Colony will be demolished and 7R quarters (140 quarters) will be constructed for all members. The cost of the entire project is estimated to be around Rs 400 crore,” said Patro.

Patro further informed that the lobby of the Odisha Assembly will also get a complete makeover. The entire State Assembly will be WiFi-enabled with modern-day lighting facilities. Tenders have already been invited for the project, he said.
