MP Anubhav Mohanty Serves Legal Notice To OTV

Bhubaneswar: Kendrapara MP Anubhav Mohanty has served a legal notice to the Odisha Television Ltd (OTV). After Hi-tech, SUM and KIMS hospital authorities filed defamation cases against OTV in connection with the COVID-19 viral audio clip, the Kendrapara MP has now sent a legal notice to the channel.

Through a tweet, Anubhav informed that the legal notice has been sent to OTV for telecasting baseless and objectionable news against him.

In his notice, Anubhav has mentioned about the reports aired by OTV regarding the misbehaviour shown towards OTV’s Kendrapara reporter Manoj Swain and the controversy surrounding the Parliamentarian's educational qualification.

It is pertinent to mention here that report on MP's misbehaviour towards OTV was telecast on November 5 last year while the fake certificate report was aired on February 2, 2020.
