Bhubaneswar: Senior IAS officer Tara Dutt on Friday appeared before State Commission for Women (SCW) in connection with the moral turpitude and extra-marital affair allegations made by his wife Indulata Das.

According to reports, Das had also appeared before the commission yesterday.

Lopamudra Buxipatra, chairman of SCW questioned the duo face to face for around six hours in a locked room. However, according to sources, the questioning yielded no results.

Talking to newsmen after the interrogation, Indulata Das, said, “Justice delayed is justice denied. The Commission, during interrogation of my husband on Friday in my presence, was unable to give any satisfactory answer. So there is nothing for me to feel happy about it. Presently, I entirely depend on the Commission and I hope and request through the media that let the Commission conduct an impartial probe and submit its report to the chief minister and recommend him to initiate a case of moral turpitude against my husband".

However, the senior IAS officer did not give any comment after the interrogation, which started at 5 pm and ended at 11 pm yesterday.

SCW questioned the duo in a locked room to prevent any media inclusion.
