On the other hand, private bus services couldn't start today even after permission from the State government.
Speaking on the matter, Odisha Transport Odisha Minister Padmanabha Behera said that city bus and auto-rickshaw services have resumed, but there is a delay in the resumption of private bus services as most of the employees are in their homes due to the COVID-19 lockdown.
He further said that discussion is underway on the waiving of road tax as suggested by the bus owners' association.
