Missing Man Found Dead In Anganwadi Centre In Odisha

Malkangiri: Body of a man, who was reportedly missing since September 13, was found with multiple injuries in the kitchen room of an Anganwadi centre at Jantapai village under Chitrakonda block of Malkangiri district on Sunday.

The deceased has been identified as Raju Hantal of Rangani Guda village under Dhuliput panchayat of the district.

The family members of the deceased alleged that Hantal had gone to the weekly market of his village along with his two daughters on Friday when two unknown persons came and took him with them.

When he did not return for hours, they searched for him, but in vain. Later, some villagers of Jantapai spotted the body of Hantal inside the kitchen of the anganwadi centre and informed his family members.

Papermetla Police has reportedly sent the body for post-mortem and started an investigation into the incident.
