Minor boys pushed from moving train in Odisha

Rayagada: Two minor boys suffered serious injuries after being pushed by an unidentified miscreant from Koraput- Vishakhapatnam train near Leligumma under Kashipur block of Rayagada district today.

The victims have been identified as Santosh Nayak and Lochan Nayak from Dabuda village under Tikiri police station. Both of them have been admitted to the district headquarters hospital.

According to sources, they were allegedly pushed out of the train while they were on their way from Tikiri to Leligumma. However, the motive behind the act is yet to be ascertained.

Speaking to media, Raju Nayak, a relative of one of the injured said, "We don’t know who has done it, but he (the victim) was saying that the man who pushed them was drunk.”

The victims have suffered multiple injuries on their bodies, informed sources. Till last reports came in, the victims were showing some improvement in health.
