Bhubaneswar: Interior parts of Southern Odisha are likely to experience rain in next 24 hours owing to a cyclonic circulation intensifying over eastern parts of Vidarbha, as per the Regional Meteorological Centre prediction here today..

Besides, there might be moderate to heavy rainfall in one or two places in other parts of the State, met official P. Nath warned.

Nath said though there will be no change in minimum temperature in next 24 hours there could be a gradual fall of temperature by three to four degrees Celsius during night in some parts of the State.

“On Tuesday, one or two places of southern Odisha, Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar and Balasore districts will experience rainfall while dry weather will prevail in rest parts of the State,” he added.

As per the Met department report, several interior parts of the State have received light rainfall today with Jharsuguda recording 3.4 mm rainfall, Sambalpur-0.2 mm, Sundergarh-7 mm, Bolangir-2 mm and Titlagarh-2 mm.
