Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department has issued a cyclonic storm warning in the next 24 hours due to a deep depression over Bay of Bengal. A cautionary signal-1 warning has been issued for all the ports along the Odisha coast.

As per the latest release of the Met department, the cyclonic storm is very likely to move west wards during next 24 hours and then west-southwest towards north Tamilnadu- south Andhra Pradesh coast in the subsequent 72 hours.

The condition of the sea is likely to be rough to very rough over south east & adjoining east-central Bay of Bengal on November 10 and 11, informed sources.

Even though no heavy rainfall warning has been issued for Odisha, fishermen have been asked to refrain from venturing into deep sea. Those who are out in the sea are advised to return to the coast before November 12.
