Bhubaneswar: The Regional Meteorological Centre in Bhubaneswar has predicted a rise in day temperature across Odisha from tomorrow. As per the forecast, maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to go up by three degree Celsius from Monday. Besides, the temperature is likely to rise by five to six degrees from March 15.

“As the wind blowing from north-west is dry, there is likely to be no rainfall for the next three days in the State. The day temperature will rise by two to three degree Celsius,” informed Gaurang Charan Behera, duty officer of Regional Meteorological Centre.

“The maximum temperature might soar above 33 degree Celsius while the minimum temperature will remain over 19 degree Celsius,” said the weatherman adding that people of the State might feel the heat after March 15.

On Saturday, Malkangiri remained the hottest place of the State with 37 degree Celsius followed by Angul at 35 degree Celsius. The mercury in Bhubaneswar settled at 33. 1 degree Celsius while Cuttack recorded 32 degree Celsius.
