Bhubaneswar: Odisha's Anvesh Subham Pradhan is among the 32 children who have been conferred with the Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar (PMRBP) 2021 for their excellent achievements in various fields. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be interacting with all the achievers through a video conference on Monday.

Anvesh Subham, a Class IX student of Chandrasekharpur DAV school in Bhubaneswar, has bagged the Bal Puraskar this year for his outstanding scholastic achievement.

The meritorious student from Odisha has so far received more than 570 awards and wants to study in the IIT. His father Manas Ranjan Pradhan works as the Assistant General Manager of SBI, Sambalpur branch while mother Jharana is a homemaker.

All these 32 young achievers will interact and share their thoughts with PM Modi today at 12 noon via video conferencing. Union Women and Child Development Minister Smriti Irani will also be present during the event, said the statement released by the Prime Minister's Office yesterday.


The 32 children from 32 districts of 21 States and Union territories are being felicitated with the ‘Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar’ this year for their exceptional abilities and outstanding accomplishments in the fields of innovation, scholastics, sports, arts, culture, social service and bravery.

Seven students have been awarded for their achievement in the field of Art and Culture; nine for Innovation; and five others for Scholastic Achievements. Similarly, seven children have won in Sports category, three have been felicitated for Bravery and one child has been honoured for her efforts in the field of Social Service, read the statement.

The award winners will also take part in the 72nd Republic Day parade at the Rajpath in New Delhi on January 26, sources said.
