Mayurbhanj Girl Subhangi Wins Opera Miss India Contest Season 2

Baripada: Defying all odds, a girl from the tribal-dominated Mayurbhanj district of Odisha emerged winner of Opera Miss India Contest Season 2.

Subhangi Jana has brought laurels for Odisha by winning the national-level beauty contest which was conducted through virtual mode.

More than 200 participants from across India were selected for the final round and Subhangi adjudged the winner.

Subhangi, a Plus II second year Arts student of Baripada College, thanked her parents, her photographer, designer and makeup artist for her success. She wishes to take part in Femina Miss India contest in future and become a top model and actress.

“Earlier, I had participated in Kalinga Sundari and emerged first runner-up. I came across the Opera Miss India Contest Season 2 through internet and filled up form. After the audition, the organiser gave tasks to the participants. The final round was held on February 7, and I emerged winner,” said an elated Subhangi.
