Bhubaneswar: After getting some respite from the scorching heat in the last couple of days, brace up for sultry days as the maximum temperature (Day temperature) is likely to rise by 3 to 4 degrees in several parts of Odisha in the next 3 to 4 days.
As per India Meteorological Department (IMD), light to moderate rain or thundershower likely to occur in several parts of Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Gajapati, Ganjam, Khurda, Puri, Nayagarh, Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Deogarh, Mayurbhanj, Dhenkanal, Kandhamal, Rayagada, Koraput and Malkangiri in the next 24 hours.
Thunderstorm with lightning is also likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Koraput, Gajapati, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Rayagada, Deogarh and Sundargarh in next 24 hours, IMD’s bulletin read.
